"All in all, Kelly’s is a great place. The people, for the most part, are amazing. But if you ever encounter a waitress named Daphne….you better tip her well or ask for a new waitress. We recently went to Kelly’s. We had ordered some dummies and asked for them well done. Chicken is hard to gauge. She was so kind and said “of course!” We had gotten our food and had a few drinks, played some darts and some video lottery. We had a good time! Until I had bitten into one of the dummies and it was raw. No big deal! Stuff happens. We did bring it to Daphnes attention but also said we didn’t want new ones or them taken off our bill. She offered to take them off. We said again it was no big deal. After all, it wasn’t her fault! Time came to ask for our check. Daphne brought our check but realized she hadn’t removed the dummies. We still would have paid for them!!! We did not eat them! But it’s no big deal! She brought a new check withi put the dummies on them. The bill was $63.15. My husband paid with a card and rounded the total with tip to $70 leaving a $6.85 ON THE CARD. We also leave $20 cash for our servers. Well Daphne apparently didn’t like the $6.85 tip and she let us know! She came back to our table and said “Yeah, I’m gonna be a dick. A $6.85 tip on an almost $70 ticket AFTER I took your wings off is rough! That’s rough!” And walked away. We hadn’t even finished our drinks or our game of darts yet and hadn’t had the chance to leave her a cash tip ON TOP of the card tip! That would have been a $26.85 tip! Tips aren’t mandatory! It’s a gratitude! We did talk to somebody about it. He was very nice as are all of the other servers there. To be honest, this was our only “bad” experience. But it was quite embarrassing and uncalled for! Maybe she was having a bad day. Who knows. Honestly still unexceptable! Moral of the story, make sure you tip Daphne well or she will let you know! "
